Contact and Bio Tom Voss

Turning a lifetime love of drawing, painting and sketching into a career, Tom Voss is an artist whose work can be seen in advertisements as well as books, magazines and newspapers nationwide. Raised in Arizona, he graduated from Arizona State University and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1971.

He began his art career working in San Diego for 10 years as an advertising art director, then began a long and successful career as an illustrator. With his well-rounded background in all aspects of art and his natural love of the outdoors Tom has turned to painting the landscape. “My calling is to find beauty in nature and express it as art. In doing so, every painting becomes an adventure."

Tom's work has been distinguished with many awards including: The New York Society of Illustrators, The Visual Club of New York and 3 first place oil category awards from the Fallbrook Art Association. He is an Artist Member of the California Art Club, and a former board member of the San Diego Society of Illustrators. He lives with his wife, and 2 children and art supplies in Escondido, California.
